Cheyenne Mountain State Park is excited to invite everyone to their second annual "NO CHILD LEFT INSIDE DAY" on October 1st, 2011! Go and explore the wonder and beauty of the park while enjoying a variety of fun and educational outdoor activities.
Steve Lucero and John Koshak from Colorado Parks and Wildlife will be teaching archery and Watchable Wildlife skills, respectively. Other activities/presentations include: animal track identification, Backyard Bass casting game, prairie dog observation, The Great Migration Challenge, bees and bee keeping, bullsnakes and rattlesnakes, ecosystem hikes, ranching and roping, park history, skins and skulls, hummingbirds, nature sculpturing, Junior Ranger training, and bear awareness.
