Denver Field Trip: August 22, Monday

Meet at 10:00a.m. to visit the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception - free, 1530 Logan Street, Denver, 80203, (children must be quiet and reverent).
Union Station - free, park here and walk to the Light Rail Station at the end of the 16th Street Mall
Ride on the Light Rail, cost $4.00 (groups of 10 tickets, over the 10 tickets will be $4.50/each) first come-first served, takes 30 to 45 minutes round trip
Picnic Lunch (bring something that can be carried, we may be a distance from our cars).
Parking costs ( $4 to $8, carpool if you can), there are some parking meters, bring change.

Forney's Car Museum, about 1:30pm to 2pm (See web site, really a great place),
$3 for Children, minimum 10, Required to have 1 Adult for every 5 children, they will not let us in if we do not meet this ratio. This is a great savings to take advantage of for this museum.
The 1 adult per 5 children is free. If we go over this we will split the $7 per adult over the ratio by how many adults attend minus my entrance fee as the coordinator is free.
I am hoping we will leave Denver by 3:30 p.m. because the traffic gets heavy after that.

PLEASE RSVP by this Friday, 12th, Tiffs_dad@hotmail.com
with the # of Adults and children.
Sorry no cancellations or the whole group does not get in.

If you want to stay late or opt for the free day at the Museum of Nature and Science also on 8/22, please do so.
